25th Anniversary Wish Night Gala & Auction – Seattle, WA
March 12, 2011 proved to be an "Evening of Extraordinary Things" as the Wish Night Gala & Auction was our chapter's most successful event to date with more than one-thousand attendees helped to raise a record-breaking $1.25 million to grant wishes this year!
The who's who of our Make-A-Wish family and the community stepped out to attend this special event, which also celebrated our local Make-A-Wish chapter's 25th anniversary. Volunteers, trustees, wish families and donors arrived at The Westin Seattle for an enchanting evening dedicated to helping children share the power of a wish.
Guests were wowed and inspired by Erik 's (aka Electron Boy's) and Ivy's wish stories. The beautiful works of art created by several wish children were an absolute hit amongst the audience. And some lucky bidders walked away with some exciting live auction items including a shark-dive experience, a trip to NYC to see Jimmy Fallon, dinner on the 50 yard line at Qwest Field, and a Napa Valley wine tour.
We are so very appreciative for everyone who helped make "An Evening of Extraordinary Things" an enormous success. Special thanks to our Gala co-chairs, John and Ginny Meisenbach, and all of our sponsors.
