Washington Women in Public Relation's "Washington PR Woman of the Year" award program and luncheon is a highlight of the DC Metro area's public relations events calendar. Every year, WWPR recognizes outstanding Washington area practitioners who provide dedicated service to their clients while also taking the time to mentor others in the field and serve as volunteers and leaders in our community.
The winner of this year’s award will be chosen from the following honorees:
• Jody Arlington, Managing Partner, PR Collaborative and Director, Georgetown Entertainment and Media Alliance
• Kirsten Suto Seckler, Director of Global Brand Marketing and Awareness, Special Olympics
• Sarah Temple, Senior Vice President of Social Marketing Practice, Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide
Keynote Speaker: Dana Bash, CNN's senior congressional correspondent. Bash is responsible for covering the activities of both the U.S. House and Senate.
In addition, WWPR holds a benefit raffle at the event where a portion of the raffle proceeds will go to our pro bono client—the Children's Law Center, the leading legal services provider in the District for at-risk children and their families.
