2010 IDID Excellence in Sustainable Design Awards Program

The IDID Awards Program
We are seeking submissions for the fifth IDID Excellence in Sustainable Design and Development Awards to honor work that contributes, by its design, to the creation of a sustainable world. The awards will be presented to outstanding buildings; urban, regional, and rural planning; landscape design; interior design; historic preservation; renovation; and rehabilitation projects. We are looking for built projects that successfully incorporate minimum impact design components and incorporate sustainable development practices, demonstrating excellence in design and the beneficial synthesis of an integrated design process.

Eligibility
Submissions will be accepted for projects of any type anywhere in the world by any New England design professional, or projects in New England by design professionals elsewhere. Design professionals are defined as architects, planners, landscape architects, engineers, and allied design professionals.

We encourage the submission of projects of all scopes and will present winners based not on project size, but rather on the projects beneficial impact to the physical environment and its positive affect on the cultural landscape. Individuals and firms of any size are encouraged to submit.

This awards program occurs every 18-24 months and is hosted by the Integrated Design/Integrated Development program of the AIA New Hampshire Environmental Guild.
