34th Annual Meeting

Target Audience:

This program is designed for physicians who are medical directors or pathologists;those physician specialists (e.g., orthopaedic surgeons, burn surgeons)who rely on the use of tissue in patient care and treatment; nurses; tissue bank specialists; quality assurance staff; and others involved in tissue banking.

Continuing Education Credits:

CTBS/ CRCS - The 34th Annual Meeting is approved for a maximum of19.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Maximum for MD/CTBS is 24.3 CEUs.

Continuing Medical Education (CMEs) - This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the University of Cincinnati and the American Association of Tissue Banks. The University of Cincinnati designates this educational activity fora maximum of 19 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s). Physicians should only claim credits commensurate with the extent of their participation.

Nurses (RNs) - AATB has been approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN), under provider number 08061, to offer continuing education to registered nurses. The 33rd Annual Meeting has been accepted for a maximum of 16.25 contact hours.

Certified Eye Bank Technicians (EBAA) - A maximum of 20.25 CEUs for Certified Eye Bank Technicians will be provided through the Eye Bank Association of America.
