2009 Tourism Showcase Exhibitor Registration     In an effort to provide you with a full day of legislative activity and enhance your opportunity to speak directly to your elected officials, the Tourism Industry Coalition of New York State (TIC) invites you to attend and exhibit at the 2009 Tourism Showcase Reception. OBJECTIVE: We will educate state legislators on the economic impact tourism has on our state’s economy, especially at the regional level. This is your opportunity to express your local needs to state legislators and request additional matching funds. The focus on local issues is up to you. Bring your booth, all of your marketing materials, samples of your publications, and economic impact information on your area -- information specific to your legislators’ districts. You know that New York State tourism creates jobs, business opportunities, and tax dollars for New Yorkers. Registration is open from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to accommodate exhibitors who wish to register and then conduct meetings with their elected officials during the afternoon (All exhibitor displays must be set up by 2:00 p.m.).
